Hoax Virus Warning in the Net
              24th February 2000 (The Star)
PARIS: Computer experts warned yesterday that a hoax warning about a computer virus was circulating on the Internet.
The virus is supposedly called "Wobbler," "California" or "How to Give a Cat a Colonic," according to e-mails in circulation.
According to the warning, the virus is similar to a well-known, destructive virus called Melissa.
"Wobbler" is supposedly contained in an e-mail that, if opened, will wreck hard disks and wipe out your computer's Internet browser programme.
But, experts said, "Wobbler" does not exist and it is a waste of time to send on the e-mail.
