Welcome to APCERT Annual General Meeting 2007

The Steering Committee of the Asia-Pacific Computer Emergency Response Team (APCERT) is pleased to invite APCERT members and invited guests to attend the APCERT Annual General Meeting hosted by the Malaysian Cyber Security Agency (Formerly known as NISER), Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, Malaysia. The venue will be at the Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort, Langkawi Island, Malaysia, from 7 – 9 February 2007.

This is the 6th annual APCERT conference to be held and it provides an opportunity for APCERT members to meet, get to know each other, learn about issues affecting each other as CERTs, and most importantly, through our shared goals and interests to help each other and improve Internet security within each of our economies and throughout the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

For those not familiar with APCERT, or who wish to learn more, the APCERT Open Session is an opportunity for you to discuss issues of interest to APCERT and meet the APCERT teams. Since its formation in 2002, APCERT now represents 19 teams from 15 economies, many of which are the leading, national or government teams within each of these economies.

Further information about APCERT’s mission and goals can be found on http://www.apcert.org.
